Broco Cookie Policy

Global

Effective September 17, 2026

1. Scope

This Policy concerns cookies and similar technologies used in connection with Broco websites and applications. Broco Technologies, Inc. is responsible for its own use of these technologies. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing associated with them.

Similar technologies can include browser storage, pixels, device identifiers and software development kits. Their legal treatment depends on their purpose and operation, rather than only their name.

2. Necessary functions and optional uses

Technologies strictly necessary to provide a requested function or transmit a communication may be used without optional consent where an applicable exemption permits it. Examples can include authentication, security, remembering privacy choices or a necessary interface preference. This is a description of possible functions, not confirmation that every example is deployed.

Optional measurement, advertising, profiling or integrations must be assessed separately. A technology is not necessary merely because it is useful to Broco. Measurement is not automatically exempt from consent.

3. Choices

Where consent is required, the relevant technology must remain inactive until you give a valid positive choice. Continuing to browse, silence or accepting General Terms does not provide that choice.

The proposed consent interface provides equally accessible options to accept optional technologies, refuse them or choose by purpose. Optional purposes are not selected by default. You can revisit your choice through “Cookie settings” on the relevant site or the equivalent application control.

Withdrawing a choice stops future optional activation governed by that choice. It does not retrospectively change earlier lawful processing. Any information already collected remains subject to its lawful processing and retention rules.

Where no consent-dependent technology is used, Broco need not display a consent request solely for decoration. Necessary technologies still require accurate information under the applicable rules.

4. Technology information

The notice for each actual site or application must identify the technologies used, their purpose, duration, first- or third-party involvement and the relevant consent or exemption status. Independent entities responsible for processing must be identified where required.

A cookie inventory is not the same as a list of all Broco commercial partners. The list must describe the technologies actually loaded in the relevant context, including before consent and after refusal.

5. Device and browser controls

Your browser or device may let you delete storage, limit identifiers or change permissions. Restricting a necessary technology may affect the function you requested. These settings do not replace Broco's duty to provide required choices and information.

Broco's legal portal, marketing site, documentation, onboarding and applications may use different technologies. A choice must not be represented as covering all those contexts unless its actual technical scope does so.

6. Contact and updates

For questions, contact support@broco.app with “Cookie question” in the subject. We will update the relevant technology information when deployments change and request a new choice where required.
